Club dues are collected on a calendar year basis. The final deadline for payment will be the Feb. 2010 meeting.  

Annual Dues Schedule

Adult Member                   $150.00
( If new member, add a onetime initiation fee of $100.00)

No initiation fee for the following:
2nd Adult in family
or full time student
over age 19                        $50.00
Junior (under 19)                $45.00
Junior (w/adult member)     $15.00

Please note that the membership has decided to levy a special assessment fee to all members to offset some additional costs associated with the new flying field. New members should be prepared to pay this special assessment fee of $35.00. See SPARKS Application for details..

Regular Membership: Allows unlimited access to the field.

AMA Membership Required

The applicant is required to be an AMA member and follow all club and AMA rules.  You can join AMA by filling out and sending in an application.  Same-Day Service is provided for those who wish to fax their membership application to the AMA by using their credit card as the method of payment.  The AMA’s phone is 1-800-435-9262, and the fax is (765) 289-4248.  The AMA website is located at   http://modelaircraft.org A regular member will be required to participate in work days (typically 2-3 per year).  SPARKS’ fiscal year is Feb. 1st until Jan. 31.    Junior Membership is for members classified as Junior for AMA purposes (19 yrs and under). A junior who joins with an adult does not pay an initiation fee and pays lower annual dues.  Juniors are expected to perform workday duties commensurate with their age.
